Description of the Program
Robinson School offers TEFL training and certification for those wanting to get paid to travel the world. With Robinson School’s TEFL courses you’ll be qualified, experienced and certified to teach English anywhere in the world.
We offer several TEFL certification options, from a 60 hour course (2 months) a 120 hour course (4 months) and a 180 hour course (6 months). Each course includes training in:
- Business English
- English for Adults
- English for Young Learners
- Introduction to International English certification courses TOEFL and Cambridge University Exams.
and also relevant topics such as:
- Class planning
- Group management
- English grammar
- Teaching Speaking
- Teaching Listening
- Teaching Reading
- Teaching Writing
- Evaluations
- Group Exercises
All of our courses include real in-class observed practice with real ESL students of varied levels.
As part of our courses we combine our TEFL course with Spanish classes where you can learn to speak Spanish while living and studying in Mexico. Each course has the equivalent of TEFL hours with the amount of Spanish hours. (60 hour course (2 months) a 120 hour course (4 months) and a 180 hour course (6 months)).
We also offer placement with host family to facilitate your immersion into the Mexican culture and give you the opportunity to create lasting friendships here. Host families can be an excellent way to help settle into life in a new place and practice your Spanish through immersing yourself in the language. Families provide a truly affordable and safe way to stay and live in Mexico while studying with Robinson School. Learning a new language and living in a different country is much easier when you are living and socializing with people from the area that are interested in getting to know you and help you.
While living and studying in Robinson School you can take advantage of the tourist attractions by joining the outings to nearby popular tourist locations, Pyramids of Teotihuacan, Mexico City, Magic pueblos, Six Flags Mexico, etc. Students of the school, their families and friends as well as other professors and staff routinely organize trips to visit the many attractions in the area and enjoy the beautiful culture and local customs here in the center of Mexico.
All graduates of our courses will receive an official embossed TEFL Certificate from Robinson School. This certificate is widely accepted and recognized around the TEFL and TESOL community showing you’ve received quality, well rounded education and experience in teaching English as a second or foreign language.
